Hahira Veterinary Clinic, owned by Doug Ruff is the culmination of many years of dreaming and planning. Hahira presented an excellent potential and opportunity for this dream and had the small town atmosphere that Ruff was used to and wanted to raise his family in. Following God’s direction and after many trials, the clinic was opened in 2007 and has flourished, while striving to maintain a personal atmosphere and maintain close individual client relationships.

For Dr. Ruff, the goal of owning a business was to allow God to work through the clinic and its employees and their talents to help people and their pets, enhancing their human-animal bond. Dr. Ruff, along with associate veterinarian, Dr. Kelly Barrett and staff at HVC is passionate about providing excellent patient care and helping clients understand how to achieve optimum health for their pets. Most of the staff would tell you they are doing exactly what they were meant to do and it shows.

Hahira Veterinary Clinic strives to offer the highest levels of care for its small animal patients, including preventative, dental and medical care, surgery, digital radiographs, ultrasonography and in-house diagnostics.  In addition, they provide animal bathing, as well as safe and comfortable veterinary supervised animal boarding.

HVC excels at helping all clients provide the level of healthcare that they desire for their pets. They are proud of the high number of client referrals they receive and the long-term relationships they have built with their customers.

Hahira Veterinary Clinic is open Monday-Friday 7:30-5:30 pm and participates in a local emergency care group for all after hour emergencies.
