State Farm Agent, Travis Pate, has been helping his neighbors in the state of Georgia for over 20 years since he began his career with State Farm in 1996. Proudly rooted in Lowndes County and a graduate of Lowndes High School and Valdosta State University, Travis started his agency in Valdosta in 2002 so he could serve the insurance needs of friends and family.

Initially, Travis worked in claims for State Farm and was able to be there when customers needed help. He knew as an Agent, though, he could take “being there” even further. His office now employs four licensed team members with the mission of making the insurance conversation an easier one. For Travis Pate’s office, it’s all about ensuring people are prepared for the unexpected providing coverage for Auto, Home, Business, Life, Property, Health and various financial services. Travis thinks what makes his office and State Farm exceptional is they’re real people living within or close to their customers’ communities, always available when needed. The over 60 years of experience his team has with State Farm makes his office unique and especially skilled at handling claims.

Because of his small but strong team, Travis can remain hands-on with the customers who trust he’ll keep them covered while also immersing himself in the community.  He’s involved with local sponsorships, active with his church, serves on various boards and is a Community Partner in Education. He considers the two most rewarding aspects of being a State Farm Agent to be: 1) His ability to assist customers in times of need, personally and hastily and 2) Make an impact on his community using his time and platform to help others.

The office is located at 2310 N Patterson St, Bldg. G and open Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, available earlier or later by appointment.
