From the Locals – Andrea Collins (Thomasville)
Thomas County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director

“Thomasville exudes historical preservation yet manages to keep up with the progressive nature of business. Really, this town offers the best of both worlds, old and new. I moved to Thomasville in April of 2017. In just one short year, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge that explains why Thomasville is truly “a place apart.”
The list of things to do, places to see and people to meet are abundant. I would recommend newcomers to visit the Thomasville History Center, Jack Hadley Black History Museum and take the Taste of Thomasville Food Tour. To get plugged into the community, you may want to attend one of the many churches in downtown, volunteer with non-profit organizations, or attend City Council and County Commission meetings.”
