Keep Thomas County Beautiful: Great American Clean Up 2020

The Nation’s Largest community improvement project. Sign up to join us on March 28th 2020 to help pick up litter on roadways in Thomas County. This is a great volunteer opportunity. Get your friends, family, church group, co-workers, civic club, or school group to join or sign up as an individual as we work together to combat the litter issues in our community. We will meet at the large picnic pavilion at Cherokee Lake Park at 8:30 AM where you will get your assigned pick-up location, supplies and safety equipment. Litter pick-ups run from 9:00 Am to 12:00 PM, and lunch will be provided for the volunteers at 12:00 pm at Cherokee Lake. Remember that together we can make a huge impact in our community and make Thomas County Shine!! Roadway cleanups are for adults and children ages 12+. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by supervising adult. Smaller children can help pick litter up at Cherokee Lake. Make sure to wear long pants, light colored clothing and closed toed shoes.
